Orange is proud to announce the launch of the new SEA-ME-WE 5 cable, interconnecting Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe and offering diversity with other cables (SMW3, SMW4, IMeWe, EIG, AAE1). Responding to market requirements, SEA-ME-WE 5 can provide you with very high capacity, the lowest latency on the route and open PoP to open PoP connectivity :Interxion in Marseille, Equinix and Global Switch in Singapore). This is an outstanding innovation in the cable market, 24Tb capacity, connecting 15 countries on 3 continents through 17 landing stations over 20,000 km between Europe, Middle-East and Asia.Moreover, Sea-Me-We 5 has a complete upgrade potential to support growth of voice and data traffic. Orange has the ability to sell full circuit capacity (10Gbps and 100Gbps) between Marseille, Singapore and Djibouti.
